I am a builder, a do-er, and a lifelong student of how teams pursing big ideas can go wrong. Of how those same teams can go, and stay, ‘right.’ 

This is my craft.

I know what it feels like, sounds like, looks like, when a team is performing at its best. I believe this state is learnable, teachable and widely attainable - without the struggle and waste most teams endure. I want that state to be accessible to all, to become the norm. That is what I build towards.

I come by these beliefs honestly. I have spent 20+ years repeatedly building and growing businesses from concept to hundreds, tens of thousands, millions and over $1B in annual revenue. I have been an operator, investor, board member, and founder.

I have also restructured, furloughed, disassembled or shut down almost as many teams as I have built. Crisis heightens all senses and with hardship, comes ease. I cherish the reps banked and the patterns revealed. Patterns that work. Now, it is a joy to build with these patterns in hand and top of mind. To hone and adapt them with brilliant leaders, in service of their teams and their work in the world.

I am the daughter of physicians, so in the pursuit of vitality, I am not afraid of gore. I view the vast majority of business fatalities as preventable. I see the possibility of ‘bad outcomes’, study the precipitating symptoms, and build systems to optimize health and safety in all conditions. I know from experience that when an end comes, it can be for reasons we love, and that passage too can be led with grace. I now work exclusively with teams directly addressing climate and public health, because if we are to leave a world worth inheriting, we will need their solutions.

I am the proud mother of a wildcat daughter named Lila.

The love I have for her fuels my drive to achieve Climate Drawdown in her lifetime.
